Ethylene sachets and blankets
The patented sachets are used to reduce the ethylene level in a very effective way during the transport and storage of a wide range of fruits and vegetables, both in the wholesale and retail.
Benefits
- Ripening, senescence and rotting of fruits/vegetables is delayed, which allows to extend life and maintain their quality.
- The effects of temperature fluctuations during transport/storage are minimized.
- The effects of delays and incidents of transport are minimized.
- Quality of fruit coming from farms with phytosanitary problems, hydric stress or less favourable climatic zones for the cultivation can be better kept.
- Protection throughout the entire distribution chain is provided: from the packing line (sometimes before refrigerating-when the fruit emits more ethylene) to the customer’s warehouse and even the final consumer’s home.
Application
- They are placed inside the packaging in direct contact with the fruit.
- Dosage: 1 sachet per bag/box. The size of the sachet will depend on the type and quality of fresh product, the time of transport/storage and type of packaging.
Legislation
- Food Contact: complies with current regulations in UE and FDA.
- Approved for use in organic agriculture.
GK Filters
Absorbent Filters:
- Filtering units to be hanged in the grid of the cooler of Reefer containers.
- ‘Easyfit’ system (bridles integrated in the cap) to ease the assembly.
- High ethylene absorption capacity and efficiency.
- Different sizes and composition to suit the type of application.
AETHYL GK 120 y GK 300
RECOMENDED FOR VOLUMES OF 50-350 m3
The AETHYL GK120 and GK-300 machines comply with the requirements of directive 2006/42 / EC and the low voltage regulation 2006/95 / CE. The design of the product is inherently benign and complies with the requirements of the EMC Directive 2004/108 / EC, with reference to emissions and immunity Protection IP 55.
Models available in 110v 60Hz, and 220v 60Hz. The machines are ideal for small cool chambers for applications like berries, kiwi fruits, flowers, intermediate logistics just after the field collection, cool room in proximity supermarkets, etc…
GKEthyCO2 Sachets
GKEthyCO2 sachets are used to reduce both ethylene and CO2 levels very effectively during the transport and storage of bagged fresh fruits/ vegetables, to extend shelf life and maintain quality.
Benefits
- Delays ripening, senescence and rotting of fruits/vegetables and prevents the appearance of CO2 damage (browning, organoleptic deterioration…).
- Ideal for minimally processed products stored in MAP bags (peeled garlic, peeled potato, pomegranate in aril, peeled banana and plantain, peeled chestnut…)
- Indicated for fresh products sensitive to CO2 stored in MAP bags for long periods of time (green banana, kiwi, pear, eggplant,..)
- Prevents bag swelling.
- Minimize the effects of temperature fluctuations during transport/storage.
- Minimize the effects of transport delays and incidents
- Help to maintain quality in fruit from farms with phytosanitary, climatic or water stress problems and also in fruit from more rustic varieties.
- They provide protection along the entire distribution chain.
Application
- Placed inside the container in direct contact with the fresh product.
- Dosage: 1 sachet per bag. The size of the sachet will depend on the type and quality of the fresh product, the transport / storage time and the type of packaging.
