CARBAUBA WAX
It is a plant coating used in postharvest treatment of citrus fruit and apples.
It provides a good gloss and good control of weight loss, delaying fruit ageing by reducing transpiration and respiration.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- It is applied by spraying on the roller conveyor of the waxer through which the fruit passes while the brushes distribute the plant coating.
- Dose: 1 litre of PLANTSEAL for 1000 kilos of fruit provides a medium degree of coating. Monitor the uniformity of the relationship between consumption of the product and fruit throughput.
- Stir the product thoroughly 5 minutes before applying and continue slow agitation during application, using suitable devices for this purpose. The fruit should be perfectly dry when the plant coating treatment is applied. Check frequently that the nozzles are not obstructed to ensure that the treatment is applied correctly.
- Look for the formation of a uniform film withoutvariations in application. Check the temperature in the drying tunnel to optimise the cost/efficiency of the process.

MANGO WAX
Post-harvest treatment for mangoes to improve appearance by increasing shine, and avoid weight loss through a reduction in transpiration and respiration. In addition, it is effective against rotting caused by fungi.
DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Apply the product directly onto the fruit using nozzles installed over a brush machine, observing the flow and coverage of the fruit. Then dry the fruit with a hot-air tunnel.
The normal application dose is about 1-1.2 liters per ton of fruit.
STORAGE
Store in a dry and ventilated place, at temperatures between 5 – 40oC, away from direct sunlight and other heat sources.

Fruitcare SK50
Product based on authorized food additives in citrus, which protects them during their conservation.
Purpose: FRUITCARE-SK 50 protects harvested citrus fruit as it improves their response to external aggressions.
Composition: Potassium sorbate (E 202) (CAS No.24634-61-5) ……….50 % W/V
Properties: Appearance: Yellow/orange liquid. Density at 20ºC (Kg/L): 1.130 – 1.210 pH (20ºC): 10.00 – 11.60
Instructions for use and dosage:
- Apply mixed with water.
Dosage:
- Drencher or dip tank: 1% (10 litres of product per 1000 litres of water).
- On-line spray (low volume): 2% (2 litres of product per 100 litres of water)
- Shake before its use.
Packaging: Plastic tank. Net contents: 10 L, 25 L Product in conformity with EU Regulations on food additives (Directive 2010/69/UE). Product generally recognized as safe (GRAS) in the USA (FDA).
